Meet the Flight Crew
Jacob P. Godfrey
Certified Commercial Pilot - Owner
From a young age, our pilot Jacob has been around hot air balloons. He watched them fly over his childhood home, and attended local balloon festivals starting at the age of 3 years old. When he was an infant, his father became a crew member with a local balloon team. Following in his footsteps, Jacob enjoyed crewing for his friend Andre, before exchanging his crew time for flight training. Once again following in his father's footsteps, Jacob earned his Private Pilot Certificate in the Spring of 2026. Shortly after, Jacob went on to earn his Commercial Pilot Certificate. A passion of Jacob's his whole life, he wanted to be able to share the joy of hot air ballooning with others. Hence, 603 Balloon Rides was born! Since the purchase of his first hot air balloon, Jacob has flown in New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Maine, and Vermont. "Since I was a young boy, I always wanted to experience the joy of flying in a hot air balloon. Now, I get the privilege of helping others experience that same dream!"

Kelsey Godfrey
Crew - Owner
Kelsey found her love of ballooning when she met her now husband, Jacob. Together they have traveled to Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, and even Ireland for balloon festivals. Jacob and Kelsey were married in 2025, and their love of ballooning followed them on their honeymoon to Carrick-on-Shannon, Ireland to the annual festival.
Caleb Supernor
Crew
Caleb has been crewing for hot air balloons since a young age. Caleb enjoy traveling with his family to the annual Wellsville Balloon Festival in New York. Later, Jacob and Caleb met crewing for their friend Andre. From that, Caleb became regular crew for 603 Balloon Rides and is even a student pilot himself.
Matt Bolduc
Crew
Matt was introduced to hot air ballooning in 2018, after Jacob brought him to crew one day. Matt found his love of crewing with 603 Balloon Rides and has also become a student pilot.
